The spring of Srivari Salakatas began on Thursday at Vasantotswa Mandapam of Thirumala. This festival is known as ‘Vasantha Utsav’ for Shri Malayapaswamy in Vasant. It is also known as a relief festival because it is a festival to get rid of the Sun.

Golden Jubilee on 11 April…

On the second day of the Vasant Utsav, Sribathu Sampate Shri Malayappaswamy will ride on the streets of Thirumda on the Golden Rath from 8 am to 10 pm on 11 April. Later, the priests demonstrate the Vasant Festival in Vasant Mandapam.
