Fine on Colors Health Care: A young woman from Sangareddy approached the consumer court claiming that Colors Health Care company has cheated her by claiming to reduce weight and fat. The court that investigated the girl’s complaint imposed a fine on Colors Health Care. Colors ordered the company to refund the fees of Rs 1,05,000 paid by the girl along with 9 per cent interest. Colors Healthcare has appealed to the State Consumer Commission against the decision of the Sangareddy District Consumer Court. The Consumer Commission rejected the appeal.

The State Consumer Commission has made it clear that Colors Health Care Company has not taken sufficient permission from the Central Health Department. Hyderabad DMHO has directed the Director of Vaidya Vidhan Parishad to submit a report on the permission of this institute within two months.

A similar incident happened last year
