Another new electric scooter in the market! Suzuki Motorcycle India has entered the electric mobility segment. Bharat Mobility has unveiled the new e-Access electric scooter at the Global Auto Expo 2025. Suzuki Access 125cc petrol scooter, one of the best-selling models in India, will enter the market in the form of an EV version. This e-scooter targets the family buyer with simple styling and practical specifications. The new Suzuki E-Access will give tough competition to Honda Activa, Bajaj Chetak, TVS iQube, Ather Rizta and Ola S1 in the electric scooter segment.
This scooter also has three riding modes Eco, Ride ‘A’, Ride ‘B’ and Reverse Mode. E-Access will be available in three dual tone color options namely Metallic Matte Black No.2/ Metallic Matte Bordeaux Red, Pearl Gray White/ Metallic Matte Fibroin Grey, Pearl Jade Green/ Metallic Matte Fibroin Grey.

The upcoming Suzuki E-Access electric scooter will have a 3.07kWh LFP battery pack. The company claims that it will give a range of 95 kilometers (IDC) on a single charge. Its 4.1 kW (5.4 bhp) electric motor produces a maximum torque of 15 Nm. The maximum speed is limited to 71 kilometers per hour. It takes 4 hours 30 minutes to charge the battery from 0-80 percent. It takes 6 hours 42 minutes to fully charge it with a 240-watt portable charger. The fast charger reduces charging time to 1 hour 12 minutes (0-80 percent), 2 hours 12 minutes (0-100 percent).
The Suzuki E-Access electric scooter is a completely new platform. This electric scooter has telescopic forks at the front and swing arm type suspension at the rear. The scooter rides on 12-inch alloy wheels on either side, with a 90/90-section tire at the front and a 100/80-section tire at the rear. Braking performance comes from the front disc, rear drum setup.
In terms of dimensions, the E-Access family electric scooter measures 1,880 mm in length, 715 mm in width, 1,140 mm in height and has a 1,305 mm long wheelbase. Ground clearance is 165 mm and seat height is 765 mm. Its weight is 122 kg.
Other features include all-LED lighting with LED DRL, combined braking system, remote fuel lid open, dual front pockets, 24.4 liters of underseat storage, digital console with Bluetooth connectivity and more. Suzuki will launch the new E-Access electric scooter later this year.
