Dwarka Tirumala: Confusion of notice in Srivari area..! What is happening in Dwaraka Tirumala?

What is happening in the Dwaraka Tirumala Sri Venkateswara Swamy area, popularly known as Little Tirupati, has become a subject of debate. The notice created a stir in Sriwari area. The issue of giving notice to Kalyan Mandap and Lodge in the grounds has become a topic of discussion. The notice warned that legal action would be taken if the details were not submitted within a week, and the owners of welfare centers and lodges were strongly opposed.

Srivari region is a census town known as Chinna Tirupati in Dwaraka Tirumala mandal of Eluru district. It is recognized as an important spiritual tourism center due to the Sri Venkateshwara Swamy Temple located here. The pillar of Sri Venkateshwaraswamy was dug on Seshadri Hill. It is a famous temple in both the Godavari districts. The place is named Dwaraka Tirumala after the ancient name of Dwaraka, which was dug from Chimalaputta by Venkateswaraswami, who was self-educated. Dwarka Tirumala, a must visit place, is known as Little Tirupati.

One week deadline…!

Dwarka Tirumala tehsildar JV Subbarao has issued a notice to the owners of all function halls and lodges run by private trusts in Srivarikshetra. The notice states that all documents related to the function hall and lodge should be handed over to them within a week.

It states that proof of land and details of land conversion must be submitted. He asked to provide details regarding building approval, building plan, fire safety permission documents, parking lot details, water supply and electricity. They were asked to provide details related to waste management, room capacity, crowd management along with GST.

Legal proceedingsā€¦

He has warned through the notice that if the relevant documents and details are not handed over to him within a week, legal action will be taken. But there are around 50 function halls and lodges in the Dwaraka Tirumala area. Only a few notices were given on the first day on Friday. Officials say that they will issue notice to the remaining people also. But most of the function halls and lodges in Sriwari area have been built ten years ago.

We will knock the doors of the court..!

This became controversial after the notice was issued by the revenue authorities. The owners allege that some wanted people are targeting the function hall and lodge and giving notices. They say that if the harassment by the officers does not stop, they will approach the court. They say that harassment against them is not justified…they have always been paying taxes to the Panchayat. It is clarified that we are running Kalyan Pandals and Lodges only after obtaining all the permissions.
