Khaki Kids: Rajanna Sirisila Police launches Khaki Kids – Awareness on cyber crime and traffic rules
Khaki Kids: Rajanna Sirisila District Police, which runs strange and new programs, has launched another new program. SP Akhil Mahajan said that Khaki Kids program has been started to educate adults through children to prevent road accidents to prevent cyber crimes. Students from all the colleges and schools of the district will be educated in the next three months.
Rajanna Sirisila District Police launched an innovative Khaki Kids program to create awareness among the public about cyber security and prevention of cyber crimes. Adi Srinivas said that it is commendable to make people aware through social service programs rather than limiting themselves to peace and security. He said that to make the police department more accessible to the people, arrangements are being made for sports competitions, health camps, driving licenses and CC cameras for the youth.
At present, cyber criminals are carrying out new frauds in the society, so that people do not become victims of such frauds, for this, cyber warriors have been selected in every police station and they are trained on the methods of cyber crime, traffic rules. And students have been trained about the precautions to be taken. Awareness programs will be organized in all the colleges and schools of the district to avoid the burden of internet misuse, online fraud and cyber fraud. Students should take advantage of the Khaki Kids program and create awareness among parents, family members and the public. Along with education, students were also asked to make parents aware about cyber crime and traffic signals.
Khaki Kids aims to create responsible citizens
SP Akhil Mahajan said that the objective of “Khaki Kids” is to educate children about cyber crime and traffic signals right from the student level with the aim of controlling cyber crime and road accidents. Students should adopt good things and stay away from bad things. He said that Khaki Kids program will be started with the intention of making parents and people listen to their children and cyber warriors in every police station of the district will be made aware about how cyber crimes are committed, how to avoid them and traffic rules. Students are requested to stay away from social media and everyone should maintain personal privacy on social media. Investment frauds, OTP frauds, job advertisements on social media, video calls from strangers, frauds, OLX frauds etc. should be avoided.
