TTD Darshan: Devotees enter Tirumala directly in queues without token.. TTD is working on a new policy

TTD Darshan: The darshan of Vaikuntha in Tirumala may have ended, but the crowd of devotees is not decreasing at all. Since Vaikuntha Darshan ended two days ago, devotees are being allowed to go directly to the Sarva Darshan queues. To enable the devotees to get quick darshan, the Sarvadarshanam devotees of Tirumala Sri Venkateswara Swamy are allowed to enter the queue directly without paying the token.

From January 10 to 19, only those devotees who had advance darshan tickets and tokens were allowed to visit Vaikunthdwara. The crowd continues as common devotees from far off places are not able to have darshan of Swami.

After the completion of Vaikuntha Dwar Darshan, devotees are coming to Tirumala in large numbers for two days. TTD decided to give darshan to all of them. TTD has decided to allow Sarva Darshanam devotees to proceed directly to Vaikuntam Q Complex-2 till the crowd of devotees reduces. TTD has announced that distribution of Sarvadarshanam tokens will be resumed in Tirumala from Thursday morning.

Exercise on philosophy without tokens..

To ensure that devotees coming for Srivari Sarva Darshan reach the queue complexes at the specified time, a time slot system has been implemented over the years. TTD officials are discussing allowing devotees to visit Tirumala without tokens.

Currently getting the token is one problem and then waiting in the queue for darshan is another problem. Officials held a meeting at the Tirupati TTD administration building on Tuesday to discuss providing token-less darshan.

CM Chandrababu directed officials to work on providing better services to devotees in the wake of the stampede in Tirupati during the issuance of Vaikuntha Dwar Darshan tokens.

The Chief Minister suggested to consider allowing devotees to have darshan of the Swami directly at Tirumala without paying tokens at Tirupati. At present, more than 60,000 devotees are coming to see Swami on regular days. TTD is discussing issues like traffic control and difficulties arising from allowing them to go directly to Sarvadarshan. Decisions will have to be taken at a higher level.
