Meerpet Murder: Brutality in Telangana – Husband killed wife, cut her into pieces and cooked her in cooker.
Meerpet Murder: A brutal crime has taken place in Telangana. The incident of killing the wife, cutting her body into pieces and cooking it in a cooker has created a stir. This atrocity took place in Mir Pate of Rangareddy district. On 18th of this month, husband Gurumurthy along with his wife’s parents lodged a complaint with the police that his wife Venkat Madhavi is missing. Police have registered a case on this complaint and are investigating. During the investigation, the police came to know shocking things. Police were told that there was enmity between husband-wife Gurumurthy and Venkat Madhavi for the last few days and there used to be frequent fights. The result was that the husband Gurumurthy was taken into custody by the police and interrogated. Then Gurumurthy told the real thing.
Gurumurthy confessed that he had murdered his wife. He told that he cut his wife’s body into pieces and cooked it in the cooker. Later he told that the pieces were thrown into Jillelaguda pond. The police is collecting evidence on what Gurumurthy said. Police have started searching for the dead body. Police found that Gurumurthy had earlier served in the army and had retired. Presently working as a security guard in Kanchanbagh. they have two children. Gurumurthy lives with his family in Dandupalli, Thupranpet. Police said that the investigation into the missing case of Venkat Madhavi is going on. Complete information will be revealed soon.
Gurumurthy of JP Cheruvu of Prakasam district is working as DRGO contract employee by profession. He lives with his wife Venkat Madhavi (35) in New Venkateswara Nagar Colony in Jillelaguda. Doubts arose in his affairs. This made Gurumurthy suspicious of his wife Venkata Madhavi. There was a huge fight between the two regarding this matter. In anger, he murdered Gurumurthy’s wife in the most brutal way. After this he cut his wife’s body into pieces. He brought a commercial cylinder and boiled the pieces. After this he dried some pieces and made their powder. He took the body powder in a bucket and mixed it in Jillelguda pond.
