Along with this, intelligence agencies suspect that some members of the force are hiding in AOB (Andhra Odisha Border). Firings have taken place in the states of Chhattisgarh, Odisha and Telangana in the last three months. A large number of Maoists were killed.

Police suspect that everyone else is reaching AOB. In this background.. police forces have been alerted in AOB. It seems that the police have received information that Aruna, wife of top Maoist leader Chalapathi, who was killed in an encounter recently, along with other army leaders Uday, Jagan, Suresh and 15 others are currently in AOB. It has been told that the police is keeping an eye on their activities.

Abujamud of Dandakaranyam has been like a fort for the party. Security forces are running towards the secret hideouts of the top leaders there. It is now doubtful how long the Maoists will keep them. The Maoist party, formed in 2004, is facing severe restrictions after two decades. The party which once used to scare the rulers, is facing danger today.

CPI-Maoist party came to power on 21 September 2004. Muppalla Lakshmana Rao alias Ganapathy was elected as the first secretary. At that time there were 16 top leaders in the Politburo. It is noteworthy that seven of these are Telugu. After that some top leaders left with surrender, arrest and death. Due to several failures this number has now come down to six.
