RGV Jail Sentence: Ram Gopal Varma is often in the news these days. Recently, on the occasion of Satya’s re-release, two big posts made from his X account went viral. Now he has been sentenced to three months in jail in the check bounce case. On Thursday (January 23), a Mumbai court sentenced him to three months’ imprisonment.

Famous director Ram Gopal Varma is facing jail term in the 2018 check bounce case. In 2018, a check bounce case was filed against RGV by a person named Maheshchandra Mishra through a company named Shree. The court has recently given its decision in this regard. Actually, Mumbai Court had found Verma guilty in 2022. But then he got bail on a bond of Rs 5,000. Ram Gopal Varma, who faced financial difficulties during Covid, also sold his office.
This is the first recorded case of check bounce. Andheri Magistrate Court found RGV guilty in this case. The complainant was ordered to pay Rs 3.72 lakh. If he fails to pay the amount, he also faces an additional jail term of three months. Let’s see how RGV reacts to this punishment.

He also said that this syndicated film starts with the message that there is no animal on earth more terrible than man. Ram Gopal Varma also clarified that the aim of this syndicate is to replace India with a new India and it is a horror film. He also said that the actors and other details of the film will be announced soon.
