YS Sharmila on CBN: ‘Are you afraid of action against Adani..?’ YS Sharmila asked direct questions to CM Chandrababu
PCC chief YS Sharmila demanded that ACB should be brought into the field on the Adani case. They want to know what are the facts in the matter of electricity contracts. Eddewa said that Chandrababu’s statement of wanting accurate information about the action taken against Gautam Adani is the biggest joke. Why did he recently in Tadepalli Palace accuse Adani of looting the state..? Inquired.
Why did you go to court..?
“Chandrababu needs accurate information to take action against Gautam Adani. If there is information, action will be taken. Babu Gari’s words are the biggest joke of this decade. With what information did he go to court on power contracts while in opposition? Why did you say that corruption is hidden in the agreements made with Adani? Why did you say that the people of the state are burdened with money? Why did he accuse Adani of looting the state in Tadepalli Palace?” YS Sharmila denied this.
“While in opposition, Adani is your enemy. Adani’s friend is the ruling party. He said that there was corruption in the agreement made with the Secretary by the previous government. American investigative agency FBI has clearly reported that the former Chief Minister himself had taken Rs 1700 crore from the agreement with Adani Power. Cases have also been filed against Adani in US courts. There is so much turmoil going on and all the evidence is in front of our eyes. Expressing anger, Sharmila said, “If the state is a victim of Adani fraud, if the former chief minister is directly involved in corruption, then Chandrababu’s asking for accurate information is tantamount to betraying the people of the state.”

Sharmila Duyya said that Chandrababu forgot the responsibility of bringing truth to power. He questioned why at least the ACB was not brought into the field to find out what happened in the contracts. This is proof that Adani is being saved.
“It is true that there is a possibility of action against Adani. It is true that the matter has gone astray under Modi’s direction. Congress party will make demands from Chief Minister Chandrababu Gari. If you also have no hidden agenda with Adani, if you feel that the welfare of the people of the state is important to you, then immediately cancel the Adani power contracts costing lakhs of crores of rupees.
