Handloom Jobs: Applications are invited from interested candidates to work as Cluster Development Executive and Textile Designer in Small Cluster Development Program in AP under National Handloom Development Scheme, Commissioner of Handlooms and Textiles. Rekhaarani said.

He said that the candidates will be selected on the basis of qualification, experience, age, residence etc. There is a total of 10 vacancies in Cluster Development Executives and Textile Designer departments and 5 vacancies in each department.

Candidates applying as Cluster Development Executive must have Degree or Diploma in Handloom Technology or Textile Technology with minimum 2 years of experience. One should also have knowledge of computer, records and account book management. Candidates applying for the post of Textile Designer must have passed NIPT or YID or from reputed institute for providing the required designs.

Must have at least 2 years work experience as Textile Designer in Handloom Department. Also should have experience in design, product improvement and development in handloom sector. Applicants should submit biodata along with copies of their certificates.

Appointments to these posts will be on temporary basis on monthly basis for a period of 3 years or the period of implementation of the cluster, whichever is earlier. 30,000 fixed remuneration will be explained.
