Some lists have been prepared for this purpose. It was also made clear that Gram Sabhas would be important in the process of identifying eligible candidates.
But people are protesting in many villages. They are objecting that their names are not in the list. He says that despite all the qualifications he did not get the ration card. Mainly many people are waiting for Indiramma houses. With lakhs of applications coming for this scheme, it can be said that it has become a challenge for the government to identify the original people along with filtering.
After that the final list- Minister Ponguleti
State Revenue Minister Ponguleti Srinivas Reddy made an important announcement in the context of the current developments. Visited Tirumalayapalem mandal on Thursday. On this occasion, he clarified that the list read in Gram Sabhas is not the final list. He said that if it is in the list…if it is not there then he will not come.
The minister suggested that if you are eligible and do not get the name, you should apply again. It has been made clear that the final list will be released on the basis of these only. Among the poor, the very poor will be given first priority. He criticized that the opposition is not able to see the development of the people’s government. He warned that if this is done then BRS will not get bail in the upcoming elections.
Ongoing Gram Sabhas:
It may be noted that the government has constituted Gram Sabhas to approve the selection list of beneficiaries of the new ration card, Rythu Bharosa, Indiramma houses and Indiramma Atmiya Bharosa. However, village and ward councils have become forums for accepting and opposing applications.
When the names of people who have been waiting for ration cards for years do not appear in the list prepared by the government, the eligible poor are expressing their anger and scolding the officials. What happened to the applications given so far in the Public Administration… What has been the conclusion of the Comprehensive Caste Census Survey?
They are expressing concern over why applications are being taken again. Officials say they will give new ration cards to all eligible poor people without announcing the list, which was initially prepared by the government due to protests in several villages. These gram sabhas will conclude from tomorrow.
