Godavari Pushkaralu in Andhra Pradesh: Godavari Pushkaralu Timings – 10 Important Points

The time has come for Godavari Pushkar. It has been decided to organize Pushkar from 23 July to 3 August 2027. The Andhra Pradesh government has already started arrangements for Pushkaras to be held every 12 years. Arrangements are expected to be made as per the action plan.

Godavari Pushkaralu 2027 – Important Points:

1. This time there are many special things in the management of Godavari Pushkar. It is estimated that this time 8 crore devotees will come to Pushkar.
2. Keeping in mind the incidents that happened in 2015 at the beginning of the same Godavari Pushkarla, they will promote that everyone can take bath anywhere in the Godavari river, without the need to bathe at the same ghat.
3. Officials have prepared proposals worth Rs 904 crore for the development of Pushkar Ghats in Godavari districts. The Center has already spent Rs. A fund of Rs 100 crore has been allocated.
4. Recently, the Railway Department has decided to allocate Rs 271.43 crore to Rajahmundry Railway Station for the provision of facilities for devotees visiting Pushkar.
5. Authorities have announced that they will run special trains from major parts of the country to Rajahmundry.
6. A draft action plan of Akhand Godavari Pushkaralu-2027 has also been prepared. It is estimated that 75,11,616 people will visit the existing 17 ghats every day.
7. Officials of Irrigation, Tourism and Revenue Department are jointly reviewing the arrangements related to Godavari Pushkaras. Apart from accommodation arrangements for pilgrims, four more new ghats are expected to be required.
8. A budget of Rs 904 crore has been proposed for the development of Godavari ghats in Rajamahendravaram. A proposal of Rs 456.5 crore has been made for the development of roads under the corporation and Rs 678.76 crore has been proposed for the development of R&B roads and bridges.
9. Overall, officials are preparing proposals for the government on the funds required for the Pushkar Ghats. Along with fund raising, an action plan is being prepared for comprehensive development of the Godavari coastline.
10. In the presence of Chief Minister Chandrababu Babu, a high-level review of Godavari Pushkar will soon be conducted and the action will be finalized.
