Meerpet Murder: Sensational things are coming to light in the Meerpet murder case which created a sensation in Hyderabad. Investigation revealed that the accused was inspired by a film recently released on OTT to hide the murder. It seems that its inspiration has been taken from a recently released film on OTT in the context of cremation.
Every day a new thing is coming to light in the Hyderabad Mir Peta murder case. Gurumurthy, who told the police that he had dismembered and cooked his wife’s body, revealed that he had used acid to destroy the body. The original undercover investigation shed light on how it was possible to cook an entire corpse in a cooker.
Many aspects have come to light in the police investigation of this case. After killing Gurumurthy’s wife Venkat Madhavi, the accused thought that if the matter came to light, his family would suffer. Recently, due to a family dispute, Madhavi’s family members had attacked him and he felt that if the matter of murder came to light, he would be in danger.
So he decided to destroy her dead body. He told the police that he had used acid and chemicals to destroy a dead body in a Malayalam dubbing film titled Sukhamdarshini, which was recently released on OTT. The investigation of the case has become complicated due to the accused giving inconsistent answers and threatening the police.
In the film Microscope, the daughter who got married and adopted the girl without listening to them at home, her mother murders her along with her son. To burn the dead body, a small water tank is made in the house, acid and chemicals are mixed in it and the dead body is kept in that tank. The acid and chemicals decompose the corpse and turn it into liquid. That water is flushed through the washroom. The insoluble bones are broken into small pieces…then dried and flushed down the drain.
Even in the case of murder of Venkat Madhavi in Mirpet, the accused wanted to dispose of her body and escape from the crime. He removed the head and torso with a saw, cut the body into three pieces, put the meat in a bucket and cooked it with a heater. After that, he poured acid and other chemicals on the mutilated body parts and turned them into a paste as smooth as possible.
They burnt the bones on the stove at home, broke them into small pieces and turned them into powder. The accused did all this alone at home. Some of these were washed in the bathroom and some in a bucket and thrown into a large pond in Meerpet. They cleaned the house with chemicals after finding no evidence of murder.
While burning the bones to dispose of the dead body, accused Gurumurthy’s hands got burnt at many places. He told the police that the injuries were caused while trying to dispose of the body. To ensure that the house does not smell bad, he used chemicals and sprays. The shops from where the accused had purchased the acid have been identified. Although the room burned without any trace of blood, modern technology detected blood stains on the floor. Evidence was found at the crime scene because it is not possible to permanently remove blood stains with currently available technology. The DNA samples were confirmed to be that of Hatura Venkatamadhavi.
