According to the police, T. Maheshwar Reddy’s family lives in Topudurthi village of Raptadu constituency in Anantpur district. Maheshwara Reddy went to the bus stop in Somuladdi village with a young man named Murali of Palachars on Saturday night. Maheshwar Reddy told the young man who came with him that he has work and after finishing the work, he will call again. Therefore, he moved to Anantpur from there. After some time, at 10.30 pm, Maheshwar Reddy sent a message to the young man that the work has been done and come to Somuldodody.

The young man came to Somuladodi on a bike from Anantpur. But Maheshwara Reddy was not there. Immediately called the switchoff. On suspicion, the young man called the family of Maheshwar Reddy. On Sunday morning, when family members and relatives searched, Maheshwar Reddy was found dead next to railway tracks between Somuladdy-Nagiredi villages. The Railway Police has registered a case of suspected death and started investigation.

Family members of the deceased alleged that Rajasekhar Reddy, brother of former MLA Topudurthy Prakash Reddy, was angry with his son in 2019 due to his cooperation with TDP. It is alleged that illegal cases were brought and troubles were created during YCP rule. He complained that his land has also been removed from online. The deceased’s father alleged that Rajasekhar Reddy was threatening him since his son recently posted pictures of Shri Ram together on Facebook.

Paritala Shriram examined the body in the morgue of Anantpur Government Hospital. Maheshwar Reddy consoled the parents. He alleged that Topudurthi Mahesh Reddy met him after 2019. Since then, former MLA Prakash Reddy and his brothers are targeting him. The police has requested a thorough investigation into the case and punishing the accused. Supporters of former MLA Prakash Reddy have denied these allegations.
