The KU police have registered cases against 22 students in the Kakati University campus. Three student leaders of ABVP have filed cases against eight others who are studying integrated chemistry for the second year, along with 11 students studying integrated chemistry first year.

Police have registered cases against two groups of students on complaints made by each other during the attack. Varity officials are ready to take action against students who have fought in varity. To this extent, the university will examine the situation in confrontation and attack on Saturday. Later, there is a possibility of suspending students who have been attacked.
