Vemulawada: Police solve missing child case – three women arrested
Mother is mentally unstable. The child doesn’t know words properly…! World knowledge is not even known. This is what the Maya women thought. In the presence of Vemulawada Rajarajeshwar Swamy, popularly known as Dakshin Kashi, disappearance and then finding of children has become a common thing. But 18 days ago everyone became worried due to the disappearance of four year old girl Advita. Lasya of Kodimyala mandal in Jagityala district of Chinthalappalli was mentally unstable and had come to Vemulawada with her four-year-old daughter Advitha, thinking that her health would improve if she remained in Rajanna’s presence.
Narasamma, Anjavva and Uppamma, who had come from Mahabubabad to meet the king, realize Lasya and her daughter Advita, a deranged mother. Since the mother did not remember what it was, she thought that if she picked up the child, she would find Lakshmi. He bought biscuits and chocolates for Dimpy and took her to Mahabubabad on 23 December. The mad mother’s search for the child was to no avail. When the mother’s child was not found, Lasya along with her brother reached Vemulawada in search of her husband and the mother was alone. When she was asked about the child, she could not tell anything. A police complaint was lodged on December 30.

Due to lack of any clue except the photo of the child, it has become difficult for the police to solve the missing case. The footage of CCTV cameras in Vemulawada was examined. Scenes of five women carrying a child have been recorded. Photographs of the suspects were released by CC Putze and circulated widely.
Based on CCTV footage, they visited bus stations and railway stations in nearby areas of Sircilla, Karimnagar Hyderabad, Warangal, Khammam, Vijayawada and Kodada and checked 200 CC cameras. Ultimately, the mystery of the missing child was solved with the information given by a former Deputy Sarpanch of Mahabubabad district. Three women were arrested and sent behind bars. Rajanna Sirisila district SP Akhil Mahajan said he would be taken into police custody and interrogated with a view to whether he had any criminal history in the past.
Kidnapping in the past…
So far four children have gone missing in Vemulawada. The family members immediately approached the police and within 24 hours he was beaten. The SP said that due to the girl’s lack of speech and her mother’s mental condition not being clear, there was a delay in finding out the girl’s whereabouts.
A four-month-old girl who was kidnapped on May 3, 2018, was reunited with her mother within 24 hours. When 11-month-old Varun Teja was kidnapped on April 3, 2019, police solved the case within a day. In 2021, a child named Charan was kidnapped..within a few hours he was brought into the lap of his mother Sarita.
