AP government on pending bills: AP government has given good news to various communities. CM Chandrababu has decided to pay the pending bills of students, police, employees and small contractors. Total Rs. CM Chandrababu has instructed the Finance Department to release Rs 6700 crore. AP government has taken steps to implement the promises made in the elections. Implementing Nara Lokesh’s promise at the Yuvagalam Padayatra, Chandrababu gave the green signal to release funds including outstanding fee reimbursement to students made by the previous government.
On the occasion of Sankranti, CM Chandrababu announced a decision to give good news to various communities in the review of the Finance Department. CM Chandrababu held an emergency meeting with the Finance Department. He inquired about the availability of funds…which category of bills are pending. Minister Payyavula informed the status of pending bills. The officials explained to the CM that there would be problems if the existing amount was paid in the form of bills. Recently the residents of Polavaram project got Rs. Finance department officials reminded that thousands of crores have been paid.
CM Chandrababu said that there has already been a delay in making payments as per the assurance given to various communities. Minister Payyavula explained to the CM that even if there were difficulties, they would make adjustments in some way to fulfill the promises given. The CM ordered immediate release of funds to the concerned communities.

“The Chief Minister has approved the release of funds worth Rs 6700 crore for payment to various groups. We are paying this total dues as a Sankranthi gift to students, police, employees and small contractors. Employees under GPF Rs 519 crore was given to the police as surrender leave arrears and Rs 300 crore was given to the CPS as TDS. We are paying Rs 1300 crore. We are releasing Rs 788 crore to those farmers of Amravati whose rent dues are less than Rs 10 lakh 241 crore.
