Vietnam company eyes Indian EV market.. ready to launch VF 7, VF 9 electric cars!
New electric cars are preparing to arrive in the Indian market. All major EV brands are set to enter India. Companies like Tata and MG are already entering this segment. But the Vietnamese company is also focusing on this market. Wants to offer the best EV at a low price. As part of this, the company has announced that it will showcase its upcoming models at the 2025 India Mobility Global Expo.
VinFast has also released a teaser of the two models that will be showcased at the Auto Expo. The VF7 and VF9 electric SUVs will be the Vietnamese company’s showcase at the auto fair.
Features of VF7
As far as the VF7 is concerned, it will be a Hyundai Tucson-sized 5-seater electric SUV. This EV is attractive. The shape of this car, sporting light units will definitely attract attention. In foreign markets, this vehicle is available in two variants, Eco and Plus. The VF7 EV comes with a 75.3kWh(net) battery pack. The Eco edition of the electric SUV has a front motor that is capable of producing 204bhp of power and 310Nm of peak torque. The Plus variant also gets a dual motor setup which is capable of producing 354bhp of power and 500Nm of torque.
The manufacturer claims that the Winfast VF7 Eco will have a range of 450 km, plus 431 km. The other difference between the two variants is the size of the alloy wheels. The Eco model gets 19-inch wheels, while the Plus gets 20 or 21-inch wheels.

The VF9 is the largest electric SUV in the VinFast lineup. The family can travel happily. It will be available with 6 and 7 seater options. VF9 EV is available in two variants Eco and Plus. Both get the same 123kWh battery pack. This mod offers a range of 531 km on a single charge. The VF9 EV is equipped with a dual motor AWD setup that produces 408bhp of power and 620Nm of peak torque. The VF9 Eco accelerates from 0-100 kmph in just 6.6 seconds. Also, it takes 6.7 seconds to accelerate from 0-100 kmph.
Other features include roof rails, large 21-inch alloy wheels, auto-dimming outside rearview mirrors. It has an 8-inch rear infotainment screen, 13 speakers with a subwoofer. The panoramic sunroof is going to be super.
