Lift accident: Gangaram (58), a commandant in the 17th Police Battalion in Rajanna Sirisila district, lost his life. Gangaram, who lives in an apartment in Sirisila, waited in the lift at midnight after dinner. The lift came in and the door was open and he went in and fell into the lift.

The police commandant, who lives in Sirisila, was seriously injured when a base fell on the ground floor from the third floor. When the local people were alerted and the police were informed, the fire crew worked hard for an hour and left the lift at the bottom of the lift.
