Launched with a hyperlink thriller concept, Bharat, Abhiram, Pavitra Lakshmi and Anjali Nair are playing important roles in this film. This thriller film is directed by Prasad Murugan. Once upon a time, the concept of the film ‘Bharat’ made in Madras and the acting of the lead characters have been highly praised. Since this is the director’s first film, due to lack of experience he hesitated in conveying the hyperlink concept without any confusion and the film did not achieve the expected success.

With the concept of how a gun has changed the lives of some people, director Prasad Murugan made the film Once Upon a Time in Madras. The king’s (Bharat) wife is suffering from health problems. He needs a lot of money for treatment. Raj enters the crime world for that money. Savitri (Abhirami) is determined to save her daughter from the clutches of the loan agent. What he did for this is a different story.
A father does not like that his daughter Anita (Pavitra Lakshmi) falls in love with a man from another caste. Through the track Thalavaasal Vijay, the director has shown in this film what a father did when he misunderstood his daughter’s love. Why Maddy (Anjali Nair) wanted to take revenge from her husband and where she got the gun from is a different story. Tying all four stories together, the director has released the film Once Upon a Time in Madras.
