How is the movie K3-Kotikokkadu?

K3 Kotikokkadu is a Kannada movie that is completely targeted towards Kiccha Sudeepa fans. The story of this film is very old and follows the same plot as the previous two installments from this franchise, with an expected twist at the end. As the character of the movie goes to a foreign location you may feel that the scenes from the previous parts are repeated except for the locations. But the execution and scenes look similar most of the time, which we have already seen in the first two parts of the movie.

When it comes to acting, Kiccha Sudeepa impresses with her performance but this is not a role that challenges her ability as an actor. Madonna Sebastian was only used for the glamor part and the same goes for Shraddhas, another actress in the film. Actor Ravi Shankar is an amazing actor, no doubt about it, but his over-performance in this movie is annoying at times. Aftab Shivdasani is okay as an international cop. All the other actors have given their role according to the story.

Technically K3 crore looks very average. Although the film is shot in some beautiful locations outside India, Shekhar Chandra’s cinematography looks very routine with the frames. Arjun Janya’s music is also poor, but the background music in some scenes elevates the character and the scene and may connect with the mass audience. After Vikrant Rona’s film, the production values of this film starring Kiccha Sudeepa are also limited. VFX look very poor.

Director Siva Karthik has followed the same formula used in the previous installments and has not added anything new to excite even the casual audience.

Overall, k3 Kotikokkadu is a below average movie and can be watched only if you are a big fan of Kiccha Sudeepa.

Plus Points:

  • Kiccha Sudeepa
