The Center has made it mandatory to link bank accounts with Aadhaar to facilitate this process. Aadhaar and bank account linking are useful for bank transaction security and other financial benefits.
Linking with Aadhaar number and bank account is mandatory to avail many government subsidies and benefits including welfare schemes, direct benefit conversion, scholarships and pensions. You can check online for linking bank account through your mobile or internet banking.
You can check any bank account for your Aadhar card through UDAI (UIDAI) website or My Aadhar mobile app or USSD code or SMS.
Aadhaar-Bank Account Link Check by UIDAI Website
- Click on Uday website.
- Click on “My Aadhaar”
- Click on “Bank Seeding Status”
- Log in to your Udayi account
- Enter your Aadhaar number, captcha code, OTP
- The bank account is linked to your Aadhaar.
Link to bank account by USSD code
- Call 9999*1# from your Aadhaar registered mobile number
- Enter your 12-Digit Aadhaar Number
- Re-enter your Aadhaar number and click on “Send”
- If bank account linking is complete, your bank account will appear on the mobile screen.

- Click on ‘Login’ in MyaAdhaar app. Enter Aadhaar number, captcha and click on ‘Send OTP’.
- OTP comes on your registered mobile number. Enter OTP and click on ‘Login’ button.
- Then click on the ‘Bank Seeding Status’ tab.
- You can see all the bank accounts linked to your Aadhar card.
To link through SMS policy
- UID <स्पेस> Aadhar Number > Account Number > Type
- Sending SMS to 567676 can help in seeding a bank account.
- If your linking process is complete, SMS will come from your bank.
You can visit your bank ATM, mobile banking and bank department to link Aadhaar with bank account.
