AP Budget allocation: Andhra Pradesh’s annual budget has been finalized for Rs 3.22 lakh crore. The revenue deficit for the financial year 2023-24 is Rs 38,682 crore. 62,719 crore, CAG confirmed. The state’s gross domestic product (GSDP) has revenue deficit and fiscal deficit 2.72 percent and 4.41 percent respectively.
According to the revised estimates of 2024-25, the revenue expenditure for the financial year 2024-25 is Rs 2,24,342 crore and capital expenditure is Rs 24,072 crore. Revenue reduction in the financial year 2024-25 was around Rs 48,311 crore, while the fiscal deficit was around Rs 73,362 crore. They are 3.01 percent and 4.57 percent in the state’s GDP (GSDP) respectively.
2025-26 budget estimate
A budget of Rs 3,22,359 crore was proposed for the financial year 2025-26. In this, Rs. Revenue cost estimate of. 2,51,162 crore and capital expenditure is estimated at Rs 40,635 crore. The revenue deficit is estimated at Rs 33,185 crore. The fiscal deficit was Rs 79,926 crore.
