AP Building Plan Rules: Orders to simplify building permits in AP, boost real estate
AP Building Plan Rules: The government has issued orders to simplify the rules for issuing building construction and layout permits in AP. The government issued separate orders to amend the AP Building Rules-2017 and AP Land Development Rules-2017.
Minister Narayan said that changes have been made in building and layout permissions as part of the speed of doing business. He said major reforms have been ordered to boost the real estate sector in the state and changes in rules have been issued to favor builders, developers and people as a Sankranthi gift.
The roads laid in the layout have been reduced to 9 meters instead of 12 meters earlier. It was decided to allow sellers in construction taking place in an area of more than 500 square metres. It has been announced that the participation of Revenue and Deputy Registrar in the committee issuing TDR bonds will be removed.
It has been announced that the requirement of leaving 12 meter service road to develop areas adjacent to State Highways and National Highways is being abolished. The set back rules for multi-storey buildings have been changed. Apart from these, orders have also been issued to simplify other rules.
Minister Narayan said that the final rules have been issued after discussions with representatives of real estate associations. He said that the latest order will boost the real estate sector in the state. He said that the government will take all measures for the development of real estate sector in the state and the real estate sector in the state has suffered a lot in the last five years and efforts are being made to restore it. It has been told that building construction and layout has been made easier by issuing permits.
He said that if real estate develops, the state will develop and a single window system will be implemented without visiting offices for building construction. He said that the single window system will be implemented by March. Minister Narayan said that he will hold a meeting with representatives of real estate associations twice a year. He promised to take steps to solve any problem in the construction sector.
