AP Liquor Shops: Good news for AP government Geeta workers, allotment of 335 liquor shops

AP Liquor Shops: AP government has given good news to Geeta workers. He is ready to fulfill another election promise. JIV released 335 liquor shops for Geeta workers. District wise Prohibition and Excise Department has invited applications for 335 liquor shops. Lotteries will be drawn and licenses will be issued under the direction of district collectors. The notification states that candidates applying for these shops will have to submit their caste and birth certificate. Non-refundable fee per shop Rs. 2 lakh has been fixed. Geetakarmi can apply at all the shops allotted in the respective districts. However, it has been made clear in the notification that only one shop will be allotted to a candidate. It has been said in the order that if there is more than one shop in the lottery then the candidate should select only one. Liquor shops are licensed for a period of two years.
