AP Mega DSC Update: No movement in announcement that DSC notification will be issued without legal disputes. Since last year, the Chief Minister has signed the announcement of Mega DSC immediately after the new government.

Mega DSC notification in AP is scheduled for first week of November last year with 16347 posts in AP. The DSC notification has been put on hold after the implementation of reservation before the release of the notification. The state government has appointed a unanimous commission to bring the classification process into sharp focus with Harid Krishna seeking replacement of new jobs after SC classification. Currently consultation is going on in the districts.

In January 2024, YCP government released DSC notification with 6100 posts. After the Alliance government came to power, the old notification was canceled and Mega DSC notification was released with 16,347 posts. Government sources say the release of the latest notification has been delayed after MMPS raised objections to the new information after the reservations were finalized in the wake of the Supreme Court verdict on SC reservation.
Appointments delayed for years…
Years of delay in DSC appointments are frustrating the unemployed. Before 1994, teacher recruitment was conducted at the district level under the aegis of the Zilla Parishad. DSC has been running at the state level since 1994. Since 1994, there have been 15 DSCs in TDP.
Lokesh said that the TDP government has replaced 1.80 lakh posts of 2.20 lakh posts till 2019. In the previous government, DSC 2024 notification was issued on February 12, 2024, with 6100 posts before the elections to lure the unemployed.
DSC is expected to complete the appointments within the next year before the start of this year’s academic year. On the other hand, unemployed people who want to try their luck with DSC have been wrestling with the books in training centers for months.
