AP MLC Election: AP MLC election, casual holiday on polling day
AP MLC Election: A two -day holiday for government employees and teachers who are graduate and teacher MLC election voters in the state. The State Election Committee has given a special casual leave to voters of polling day (27 February 2025). Vivek Yadav has issued an order of the Chief Electoral Officer of the state.
MLC elections are being held for the United Uttarakhand District Teachers constituency, two Godavari districts of the state, the constituencies of United Krishna and Guntur districts. The Election Commission has announced casual leave for employees of these districts. This gave jobs and teachers an opportunity to use their votes.
State Chief Electoral Officer Vivek Yadav said in the orders that the Central and State Government employees will be given a special casual leave to the State Legislative Council on the day of election to the Central and State Government employees. He said that he was able to exercise his right to vote.
To this extent, Srikakulam, Vijayanagaram, Visakhapatnam, Parvatipuram many, Anakapalli, Alluri Sitaramraju, Kakinada, Dr. Bra Ambedkar Konsema, Eastern Godavari, Eluru (Part), Krishna, Nathe have been sent to the district orders.
Officials have suggested that officers should inform the employees of the central and state government in all the offices of their district. It is said that employees of Bonfed voters in the respective constituencies are capable of giving a special casual leave on polling day (27 February).
There is no provision for private employees
District election officials have been informed that there is no provision under the Public Representation Act -1951 to declare a general holiday for the Elections of the State Legislative Council about the employees of private companies. Therefore, owners of all private businesses, commercial, industrial organizations or other organizations of the state have appealed to employees for grants of necessary facilities who are registered as any graduate voters in graduate constituencies.
For example, the office and duties are allowed to participate in the office, transferring adjustment to exercise their right to vote on the day of polling (27 February).
However, on polling day for government employees, casual leave was announced for two days. On 26 February, Shivaratri has come on the occasion and casual leave, jobs and teachers are coming for two days on the day of Marusati.
How many voters?
1. A total of ten candidates are in elections in Uttarakhand Upadhyay constituency. Polling in 123 polling stations. There were 22,493 voters. Of these, 13,503 were male and 8,985 were Tamil. This election is being held in Srikakulam, Vijayanagaram, Manayam Parvatipuram, Alluri Sitaramaraju district (part), Visakhapatnam and Anakalli districts. Of the ten people, PDF candidates will be the main competition Koradela Vijayagouri (UTF), Pakalapati Raghuvarma (APTF) and Ged Srinivasulanadu (PRTU).
2. Although 34 candidates are contesting elections in elections for the constituency of Joint two Godavari districts, the main competition is mainly between TDP candidate’s Parbhatu Rajasekhar and PDF candidate DV Raghavas. There were 3,14,984 votes, out of which 1,83,347 were males and 1,31,618 were males. There are also 19 Trans -Jandar. A total of 456 polling stations have been set up. Voting in Kakinada, Eastern Godavari, Bombadkar Konsema, Alluri Sitaramraju (Bhaag), West Godavari and Eluru (Bhaag) districts.
3. Although there are 30 candidates in the constituency of Krishna and Guntur districts, there will be a major competition between TDP candidate Alpati Rajendra Prasad (Raja) and PDF candidate KS Laxman Rao. There were 3,46,529 votes. A total of 416 polling stations have been set up. Voting in Krishna, NTR, Eluru (Part), Guntur, Palanadu and Bapatala (Part) districts.
