AP School: major improvement in AP educational system, 7500 ideal primary school from next academic year
AP School: The Andhra Pradesh government is preparing to make major reforms in the education system. It has decided to set up 7500 Adarsh Primary Schools from the next academic year (2025-26). The school education department has taken steps to this extent. For this, the government has planned to abolish the JIO number 117 issued by the final YCP government. Orders on the new education system will be issued soon. A teacher will be handed over to classes in 1 to 5 schools in the new system. The government has planned to relax the rule of 60 students and recognize 50 students as ideal schools.
Jio 117 canceled!
The YCP government has transferred grades 3, 4 and 5 grades from primary schools to primary and high schools. The government expects to withdraw these classes and merge with basic schools. If the distance of schools is high then basic primary schools will continue. There are 1 to 5 classes here. Teachers are assigned based on the number of students. After the cancellation of Jio 117, proposals have been prepared at the area level on reforms. In municipalities, the ward is taken as a unit and ideal schools are established.
The number of students in public schools in private schools is decreasing. In addition, the number of single teacher schools has increased as the final government has gone to high schools 3, 4 and 5. The state has more than 12,500 single teachers schools. There are only 1, 2 classes and 1-5 grades. In the new system, Anganwadis will be converted into satellite foundation schools that provide pre -school education such as LKG and UKG. In addition to preschool, schools teaching classes 1 and 2 will be converted into Foundation schools.
Basic primary schools are considered a preschool, teaching schools from 1 to 5. School high schools from 6th to 10th grade will remain. Pre -school in Adarsh Primary School Gram Panchayat, Ward and Division will be established to teach 1 to 5 fifth grade.

The coalition government is creating the Teacher Transfer Act. The Education Department has already enacted the draft law. It will be introduced in the budget session.
