BJP Eatala Rajender: Eatala Rajender slapped a real estate businessman in the context of the poor housing controversy.

BJP Eatala Rajender: There is tension in Ekashila town under Pocharam municipality of Medchal Malkajigiri district. On the complaint of local people, a real estate dealer who was involved in a land dispute was arrested. Real estate brokers expressed anger. Police and revenue officials are accused of colluding and harassing the poor.

Eatala alleged that the people who have kept the plots by not building houses on them after saving money and buying them 30-40 years ago, are being harassed with fake documents. He complained that the same was done in Arundhati Nagar, Balaji Nagar and Jawahar Nagar in Hyderabad and if houses were built in 40 yards and 60 yards, they were demolished.

Eatala said that he has spoken to the Revenue Minister, Collector and CP and the victims have complained that they are continuously hearing the pain of demolition from Arnela. When Eatala reached Ekashila Nagar on Tuesday, the local people surrounded the real estate businessman. When the businessman complained, Eatala got angry and slapped him on the cheek.

149 acres of vacant land in Eksila Nagar was earlier identified for housing. Some of those who got places sold them to others. Some have built houses. In this sequence, local real estate businessmen were making documents of those places and terrorizing the local people, hence Eatala reached there.

When the locals complained against the real estate dealer, Eatala became angry and asked to slap him on the cheek. Immediately Eatala’s followers attacked him. He demanded the government to take action on this matter.
