Amarvati: Chief Minister Chandrababu Naidu hopes that she will be recognized as the World Quantum Valley, Silicon Valley. He said that Andhra Pradesh should be at the forefront of quantum technology and Artificial Intelligence (AI) areas and should be the leader of AP State Quantum Mission. CM Chandrababu issued important instructions in a review meeting held with IT experts at the Secretariat on Monday.

Widespread talk on the formation of Quantum Valley Ecosystem

CM Chandrababu has widely discussed the establishment of Quantum Valley Ecosystem in Amravati with IT experts. He said that a special workshop will be organized on the quantum mission in Vijayawada on 30th of this month. The workshop will be invited to IT, pharma, agriculture and health sectors, universities, college experts, startups and innovators. He said that every aspect should be constructed from the most prestigious and quantum valley of the building building.

AP Quantum Mission with Rs 4,000 crore in two phases

In the review meeting, the authorities explained the AP State Quantum Mission Agenda and functionality through the presentation. The main objective of the mission is to make the state a quantum innovation hub, to participate in the National Quantum Mission and strengthen the knowledge economy.

The mission focuses on quantum computing, quantum communication, quantum sensing-matrozy, quantum content-device. The mission has been led by the Chief Minister himself. The IT Minister, State Secretary, IT Secretary, Finance Secretary, Mission Director and Expert will be part of the committee mission.

The AP State Quantum Mission will be completed in two phases. The first phase will continue till 2025-2027 and the second phase to 2027-2030. In the first phase, meditation is on infrastructure, education and pilot programs. In the second phase, AP global leadership, trade and export capacity are main. Officials estimate that the mission will cost around Rs 4,000 crore in the next five years.

The government has soon decided to appoint a director specifically for this quantum mission. The AP State Quantum Mission is headed by IBM (IBM).
