Chandrababu unhappy: Chief Minister Chandrababu went to Tirupati and returned without having darshan of Swami..Why?
Chandrababu unhappy: AP CM Chandrababu Naidu left for Undavalli without having darshan of Tirumala Venkateswara on Vaikuntha Ekadashi. It is customary for the Chief Minister to have darshan of Lord Venkateswara, the living deity of Kaliyuga, on Vaikuntha Ekadashi. On the occasion of Vaikuntha Ekadash, before allowing devotees to have darshan, the Chief Minister participates in a special puja of the Lord. But this year, despite coming to Tirupati, the Chief Minister went back without visiting Tirumala.
It may be noted that six people lost their lives and more than 40 were injured in the stampede that took place at Padmavathi Park in Bairagipatti during the issuance of Vaikuntha Dwara Darshanam tokens. The Chief Minister met the families of the deceased at the hospital mortuary. Vedic scholars advised him not to go to Tirumala after visiting the dead bodies and meeting the families of the victims, so he reviewed in Tirupati and went back.
The Chief Minister was unhappy with the fact that he could not attend Vaikuntha Ekadashi in the first year after becoming the Chief Minister for the fourth time. CM Chandrababu has deep faith in Tirumala Venkateshwara. It is often said that those who survived the bombing in Alipiri were only by the grace of God. This year, on Vaikuntha Ekadashi festival, he has planned to visit Tirumala Srivari with his family members. The CM is scheduled to reach Tirumala along with his family members on Thursday evening, September 9. Due to an unexpected incident on Wednesday night, the atmosphere of the CM’s entire tour changed.
He stayed in Tirupati from Thursday afternoon till night and met the victims and reviewed the incident. It seems that the Chief Minister could not attend Vaikuntha Ekadashi in the first year after the formation of the NDA coalition government.
TTD held a special meeting with around 50 people injured in the Tirumala stampede and their relatives at Vaikuntha on Friday morning.
