Chittoor: Encounter in Jammu and Kashmir.. Andhra soldier died.. Celebrities expressed grief

Firing took place in Sopore district of Jammu and Kashmir. A soldier from Andhra Pradesh was martyred in this incident. On Sunday, army personnel surrounded the base of terrorists in Jalura Gujarat area and conducted an electrical attack. The terrorists also retaliated. As a result, Pangala Karthik (32) was shot and seriously injured. Army officials revealed that he breathed his last during treatment.

Karthik is the second son of Varada Mandadi and Selvi, hailing from Upper Ragimunupenta village in Bangarupalayam mandal of Chittoor district, Andhra Pradesh. He had joined the army less than ten years ago. After posting at many places.. currently on duty in Jammu and Kashmir. In this sequence, the base of terrorists was surrounded and firing was done in Jalura Gujarat area on Sunday.

Jammu and Kashmir Lieutenant Governor Manoj Sinha paid tribute to Kartik on his death. “I salute the bravery of our army and the sacrifice of Pangala Karthik. His bravery and sacrifice will never be forgotten. The entire nation stands with the martyr’s family in this hour of grief,” the Lieutenant Governor remarked.

Tears of parents..

As soon as the news of Karthik’s death was known, the parents started crying. There is sadness in Upper Ragimnupenta village. Karthik’s family members, relatives and friends started crying bitterly. It seems that Karthik’s body will be brought in a special army vehicle. Local people said that they will perform the last rites with respect on Wednesday.
