The government is a sensational decision.
The government has decided to implement Telugu as a compulsory subject in all boards with Telugu CBSE, ICSE and IB as well as all boards. State Education Secretary Yogita Rana on Tuesday issued an order with the orders of Chief Minister Revent Reddy.
On March 30, 2018, the state government enforced the law to teach Telugu tongue Telugu as a duty in all boards for 1-10 grade in the state. Officials released Jio 15 in June the same year. CBS is teaching Telugu only from 1 to 8th grade in schools under other such boards.
Since the triple theory is applicable up to 8th grade, English and Hindi are taught in Telugu as a subject. In nine and ten grades, there are two languages. One of them is English. Second is studying Hindi or other languages and mother tongue of students. In Telangana, students from North and other states are selecting Hindi.
With the decision of the government, Telugu will no longer be read as another language. The government has made it clear that the Telugu subject should be implemented in the next academic year and 9th grade in the next year.
The Ministry of Education has created an easy Telugu text book called Venela for non-indigenous Telugu people in 2018-19. It is currently used up to 1-8 square in CBSE and ICSE-based schools. Students of Grade 9 and 10 have also allowed officers to use the book Venela. CBSE, IB and ICSE boards will have to test in Telugu language from 2025-26 academic year.
