Crime Comedy OTT: Vijay Sethupathi starrer Tamil film Sudu Kavvum became a trend setter in the crime comedy genre. A sequel was made to this blockbuster film named Sudhu Kavvam 2. Mirchi Shiva played the role of hero in this sequel film. Karunakaran, Harisha and Radharavi played the lead roles. Directed by SJ Arjun.

The film Soodukavam 2, which garnered mixed reviews in theatres, has recently released on OTT. Released on two OTTs on the same day. The film is streaming on Amazon Prime and Aha Tamil OTT from Friday.

Comedy…twist…

Director SJ Arjun has made this film by adding crime comedy elements to political themes. Music by Edwin Lewis Vishwanath and Hari SR for the film Soodukvam 2. The sequel was not successful at Sudukavvam level. One disadvantage of the sequel is that not much work has been done on comedy as well as twists. This film was released in theaters on December 13 and exactly a month later it was released on OTT.
