Electric cars: Electric car sales in January .. Tata Motors Top Again ..

Electric car sales in India are seeing a huge increase. Tata, Mahindra and MG Motor are currently in the list of sales in January 2025. From the beginning, the Tata Electric Car has been a pioneer in the segment. But now MG motor sales figures are very close. Tata is likely to cross in the coming days. Tata motors

Tata Motors sold 5,037 units electric cars in January. The sales of Tata Motors fell 13 percent this time compared to 5,790 EVs sold in January last year. It recorded 61,435 cars sales in the entire year of 2024. This is a 2 percent increase than before.

MG motor

MG Motor sold 4,225 electric vehicles in January. This is an increase of 251 percent compared to the 1,203 units sold in January last year. It recorded strong sales in 2024. A total of 21,464 electric vehicles were sold.

Mahindra

Mahindra sold only 686 and XUV400 electric SUVs in January 2025. In the first 10 months of the financial year 2024, 5,698 units were sold. The company won a 7 percent stake in the Indian electric car market.

Hyundai Motor

Hyundai sold 321 units cars in January 2025. Creta Electric was opened at the Auto Expo on 17 January. More sales will be done in the coming months.

BVD

Byd India recorded a total of 312 units of cars in January. 163 cars were sold in January last year. On the other hand, the BVD will announce its new Sellian 7 booking on 17 February. The delivery will begin in March.

Citroen

In January 2025, Citroen sold 269 electric vehicles. In the first 10 months of the financial year, car sales increased by 5 percent to 1,851 units. This resulted in a 2 %share in the company’s monthly and 10 -middle market.

Kia

Kia sold 47 electric vehicles in January this January. It sold only 38 cars in January 2024. This is a 24 percent increase compared to January last year.
