Eluru Robbery: A major robbery took place at a gold jewelery shop in Eluru on the eve of the festival. Jewelery worth Rs 2.5 crore including 25 kg silver was stolen. The shop owner fell seriously ill due to this incident.

A massive robbery took place at Lokeshwari Jewelery Shop, a shop run by bankers in Eluru. There is an abandoned building behind the gold jewelery shop. The building was blocked only with wooden doors. The accused carefully searched the premises of the jewelery shop, entered an unused building and entered the shop while keeping an eye on him. The scenes of the accused have been recorded in CCTV.

In this incident jewelery worth Rs 2.5 crore was stolen. The gold that was pledged was also stolen. When the owner reached the shop in the morning, he fainted as the shop was empty as soon as it opened. After the people standing nearby informed the police, the Cluj team reached the spot.

Since the gold shop also does finance business, there is a huge stock of jewelery in the shop. The victim says that the pledged gold was also stolen. Local traders say that the police have recovered a huge quantity of jewelery from the shop from where jewelery was stolen a few days ago.
