Gaddaar Cine Awards: Deputy CM Bhatti Vikramarka said that the state government has decided to present the Gaddaar Telangana Film Awards on this Ugadi and the committee members and officials should complete the arrangements as soon as possible. The Traitor Award Committee meeting was held in the Secretariat on Saturday. In this meeting, Deputy CM Bhatti Vikramarka said that the best films made in Telugu language will be recognized and given awards. Gaddaar Awards are presented with the aim of promoting films of high technical skill and human values with cultural, educational and social relevance that promote national integration and unity.

A committee meeting was held on the rules and regulations including the logo of the Traitor Awards. Deputy CM Bhatti Vikramark said that the state government has decided to organize this award program in a prestigious manner. It was suggested that the award distribution program should be organized on the lines of national level programs. The Deputy CM said that the logo of the awards should be designed to promote the cultural symbol Gaddaar.
He said that efforts are being made to make Hyderabad a global destination for film production. Those who have ruled the state for the last ten years have neglected the film industry and said awards have not been distributed. He said that when Indiramma government came to power, the government under the leadership of CM Revanth Reddy was taking all kinds of measures for the development of the film industry.
Awards in these categories
Bhatti Vikramarka said that Gaddaar Telangana Film Awards will be organized every year from this Ugadi to give awards to promote the production of films in the state. The meeting decided to give awards under various categories like feature films, children’s films and books on Telugu cinema. The awards will also include cash prizes and appreciation certificates. In this meeting it was also decided to design a logo for the Gaddaar Award.
