He warns the bullies and businessmen to stop atrocities and corruption. Also, Ram will break up with Deepka (Kiara Advani). Both meet again. On the other hand, Bobbili Satyamurthy (Srikanth), who is the Chief Minister, instructs the ministers and MLAs that everyone should be honest and stop corruption in the last year in power. He regrets the backstabbing and injustice he once did to Appanna (Ramcharan). Minister Bobbili Mopidevi (SJ Surya), who is pinning her hopes on her father’s CM seat, does not like this. On the other hand, Collector Ramanandan also targets Mopidevi to stop her activities. Ramanandan stopped Mopidevi from getting the post of CM through her conspiracies. At this time, Satyamurthy’s last wish takes a major turn. Ram Nandan’s past will be revealed. After that there will be elections. How did Ramanandan stop Mopidevi? What is his past? What fight happened between Appanna and Parvati (Anjali)… what happened to them? What is his relation with Ram? How were the elections held? Did Rama fulfill Appanna’s ambitions? Story Analysis: Lack of innovation.. some sparkle

After Robot, director Shankar is facing continuous failures. Especially in the case of the previous film Indian 2, it was very disappointing. Shankar’s films in recent times have failed to impress due to lack of narrative strength. Tamil star director Karthik Subbaraj’s story for Game Changer has aroused interest. Curiosity grew as to how it would be. However, Karthik Subbaraj did not add much innovation to the story for this film. The story revolves around the IAS officer stopping corruption, his son’s conspiracy for the CM’s chair, political gains, the reaction of those who believe in ideals and his successor’s attack on those who commit injustice. However, Subbaraj has added sparkle here and there to the story. The twist in the interval is impressive. There are other interesting twists in the story. The story is not very new but it is okay.

The story is like this..

Start as a routine.. Mass action that pleases: Director Shankar started the story of this film as a routine. A slightly political angle was introduced and Ramanandan (Ramcharan) was shown. In the introduction scene, Ram washes away the miscreants. This action sequence of the hero with Panche is entertaining. Whistled with the fans. The song Machha Machha Ra is gorgeous. After this, the scenes of Collector Ram stopping corrupt activities seem fine. At some places it even feels like taking a class. Heights bring happiness here and there.

Badani Love Track: Shankar could not play the love track in this film. The college episode between Ramcharan and Deepika is boring. Rama’s efforts to appease his anger are also ineffective. The strong side of this love story is missing. Because of this the love track doesn’t connect much.. the first flow seems a bit stretched. It would have been better if Ram’s reason for wanting to become an IAS was something else. Shankar should have directed it better. Even the comedy tried with Sunil could not show much effect. Comedian Brahma Brahmanandam will be seen in one scene.

Interval Twist Adders: The rivalry scenes between Collector Ram and Minister Mopidevi will be interesting. Along with Mopidevi’s desire for the CM seat, political ups and downs also seem good. The one and a quarter hour before interval in this film is pleasant. Especially the interval twist increases the interest in the film. What will happen in the second half arouses interest.

Appanna’s part is the best..he remembers: Appanna’s part after the interval in this film has been well directed by Shankar. The audience gets emotionally connected with this character who fights for the people. Charan is more impressive in this character. The film Rangasthalam is remembered in one respect. That aspect is also important in the film. Overall, Appanna’s character is seen for a short time but will be remembered for a long time. Cherry brought life to that character with her acting ability. Parvati’s character is also pleasing. Appanna’s sequence of cheating is also interesting. He showed how money can make a difference even in political parties founded on ideals. Overall the flashback episode is strong.

As far as imagination is concerned..: From the flashback onwards the story progresses in a predictable manner. Although the cat-and-mouse game between Officer Ram and Mopidevi during the elections is good, the scenes after that phase are predictable. Not so exciting. In the case of Parvati’s character, emotion is strong. The climax is also smooth. The climactic action sequence is a bit different from the usual hero beatdown. But not so excited. In the end, Ramanandan’s talk about the schemes seems to give a message to the current political leaders.

Election Commission should show its strength..: In the second part, Shankar showed how powerful elections could be if the Election Commission used all its might. An attempt was made to show to what extent political leaders can be constrained by election officials. He also gave a message to the election system, the public and the political parties. However, it would have been better connected which would have been more effective. Overall, compared to the first half, the second half seems better.

the songs are gorgeous

Shankar’s marked grandeur was seen in the shooting of the song Game Changer. Thousands of people will come to sing Ra Macha Macha. A dope song has surprising elements. The set work of Jarhandi song looks rich. Charan did two dance steps. The fans were given a warm welcome. However, the low budget song ‘Arugameda’ is emotionally touching. The context and meaning of this song is good. The performances of Ram and Anjali also give strength to this song. In this film, Nana Hirana’s song was removed in the edit.

Shankar was looking fine

Director Shankar.. It seems that he should have taken more care in the story. Especially the first one seems to be a love track week. This should be interesting. The interval of the second half and the first half hour is impressive. In films including Once Indian, Alone One, Stranger etc, Shankar has been strong in conveying the message he wants to convey and connecting with the audience. But they have been struggling in this matter for about ten years. Something similar happened with Game Changer also. Despite the message being good… Shankar failed to strike a chord with the audience. I liked this film. It cannot be said that Shankar made a complete comeback with the film Game Changer. However, he is looking better than his recent films.

BGM is pleasing..the look of the film is rich

Thaman’s singing for the songs in the film Game Changer received passing marks. Not very excited. However, the background music of this film is a hit with Thaman. The visuals were heightened with music. Mopidevi’s BGM looks new. Overall, Thaman has done justice to this film. Cinematography is also better. The vastness is visible. The views are impressive. The budget given by Dilraj and Shirish will be visible on the screen. This film will run grandly on the silver screen.

actors’ performance

The main attraction of the film Game Changer is the acting of Ram Charan. Ramanandan and Appanna impress in both the roles. Appanaga became more impressed with Cherry. College look has a special attraction and emotional scenes have also been well-crafted. Charan’s dialogue delivery is also strong. Grace was visible in the dance steps. SJ Surya is thrilled with his stellar performance. He did complete justice to that character. Special mention should be made of Anjali in this film. He has a strong character. This was completely appropriate. Got emotionally moved. However, makeup for a vintage look is not so straightforward. Appreciated in acting. Kiara Advani has done well with her cute look. Srikanth, Samudrakhani, Naveen Chandra and Sunil were happy.

overall..

Game Changer is an above average film. Except for some time in Fastflow, I don’t feel much boredom at other places. The second half is better. Most of the interest revolves around politics, office, party pitches, backstabbing and election issues. A nice twist. Charan’s acting is a big plus for this film. Director Shankar.. even though he did not show his old impression completely, he did not disappoint. For Charan’s acting and grandeur on the silver screen, this film is a must watch in theaters this Sankranti festival. However, if you keep your expectations a little lower, you’ll enjoy it more.
