The reconsideration government has decided to distribute cannabis to the poor for free. The Telangana distribution scheme has started from 1 April. Public representatives in the districts went for the homes of the beneficiaries and lunch. But in Hyderabad, the plan has not yet been implemented. The reason for this is the MLC election of local bodies.

Due to the election code, the residents of the city have no longer obtained cannabis. However, by 25 April, the election code ended. Authorities have arranged for distribution of thin rice in the city. Already, 653 ration shops have started working on thin rice. Sunnabiam will be distributed to all those who are eligible through the city’s ration shops from May 1.

Telangana Chief Minister Revant Reddy launched the scheme.

About 85 % of the people in the state will benefit from this scheme to 3.10 crore people.

The scheme was brought to the poor with the intention of eating quality rice. This decision was made by the people to refuse to do the quality of rice distributed in the past.

Officials say that the government will spend Rs 10,600 crore annually for the scheme.

Each beneficiary is distributed free from 6 kg of thin rice per month. Ration was distributed by ration shops under the aegis of the Civil Supplies Department in the state.

This scheme is providing free thin rice to the poor for the first time in the country.

Chief Minister Revant Reddy said that the scheme will continue permanently.

The process of issuing new ration cards has also started in the state. Officials say that eligible families will soon get new cards.

People below the poverty line are issued tricholor ration cards and green ration cards to people above the poverty line.
