GWMC Budget 2025: Greater Warangal budget 1071.48 crore rupees
Greater Warangal Municipal Corporation (GWMC) has proposed a large budget for the financial year 2025-26. Last year, the maximum budget was raised at a cost of Rs 650.12 crore. The meeting chaired by Greater Mayor Gundu Sudhini was approved by the GWMC ruling class.
It is estimated that Rs 337 crore will be provided with general taxes, Rs 728 crore Rs 10 lakh, deposit of Rs 600 crore and advance through various grants. State Forest Environment and Finance Minister Konda Sarekha, Parkala, Vidhanpet and Warangal West Malas Revuri Prakash Reddy, KR Nagaraju and others attended the budget meeting.
How much?
Baldia’s income from its income will be used from 337 crore 38 lakhs, Rs 100 crore will be used for cleanliness of Rs 100 crore and Rs 29 crore Rs 92 lakh. Another 34 crore 30 lakh has been allocated to the engineering department, Rs 33 crore Rs 74 lakh and Rs 41 crore Rs 5 lakh. 21 crore 15 lakh for general management, Rs 40 crore for town planning and Rs 50 crore for disaster responsibility.
Rupee. 10 crore 40 lakh and ward -period development work Rs 39 crore has been allocated Rs 15 lakh. Officials said that the Chief Minister had approved the Rs 187 crore stamp duty funds which were pending for many years. The budget has helped allocate 1/3 budget for the development of slum areas to increase the salary of sanitation workers and electricity workers.
More and more focus: Minister Surekha
Minister of State Konda Surekha said that CM Revent Reddy has focused special focus on the development of Greater Warangal and developing the second capital of the state. We all want to participate in this development. Chief Minister Revent Reddy said that Tail Park, Airport, Underground Drainage, Strome Water Drain, Inner Ring Road and Outer Ring Road are being set up to build the city of Warangal. He urged all people to work together for the development of Warangal urban development.

Mayor Gundu Sudhni said that under the direction of CM Rivent Reddy, District In -charge Minister Pongulat Srinivas Reddy is working on the development of Greater Warrang City with the help of local ministers and MLAs. With the cooperation of all, it is clear that the city will be on the path of development in the coming days. He said that the budget is being presented for the fourth time after the Warangal Metropolitan ruling category. He said that some amendments have been made in the Baldia budget to remain close to facts and contribute to the development of these budget divisions.
Vardhapet MLA KR Nagaraju said that the budget presented by the Greater Warangal ruling class is acceptable for people of all classes. He thanked 13 merged villages of Vidhanpet constituency in the Greater Warangal region and for allocating funds to develop them.
Parkala MLA Revuri Prakash Reddy said that Chief Minister Revant Reddy is in a position to develop Warangal in Hyderabad. The corporation will fully support development. It has been suggested to provide income sources through various taxes to develop in Baldia. Hanumakonda District Collector P. Greater Commissioner Ashwini Tanaji Vakadad, Deputy Mayor Rizwana Shamim Masood, Corporaters and Baldia various wing officers participated.
