Hyderabad RRR: ORR – Construction of radial roads in the middle of the Regional Ring Road… All those industries are there – CM Revanth

Chief Minister Revanth Reddy said that the Telangana government aims to create a great city in the country in the name of Future City. Industrialists were invited to come forward for investment in line with the government’s aspiration to compete with global cities like New York, London, Tokyo, Seoul and Dubai.

CM Revanth Reddy addressed the Federation of Indian Industries National Council meeting held at the Green Business Centre, Hyderabad. The objectives of Telangana Government in industrial development were explained. He urged the industrial sector to contribute to the development of economy, free trade and markets in Telangana. He said that the state of Telangana is ready to provide the best ease of doing business in the world.

Speech of CM Revanth Reddy – Important Points

• “The government aspires to create a fourth city focused on the services sector with the aim of Telanganarising. We are working completely with net zero goals in Hyderabad.
• As part of making Hyderabad a pollution free city, we are going to replace 3200 Artis buses with electric vehicles. We have completely abolished registration and road tax on electric vehicles. At present, the sales of electric vehicles are growing fastest.
• We have taken steps aimed at making Hyderabad a flood-free city and the most eco-friendly city in the country. As a part of the same, we have initiated 55 km long Musi revival works. We have already started the necessary activities to meet the drinking water needs by 2050.
• We have started the construction of Telangana Maniharanga Regional Ring Road. Radial roads will be constructed between the Outer Ring Road and the Regional Ring Road. We are going to establish industries like pharma, life sciences, aerospace, defence, EV, solar energy in those areas.
• We have requested the Prime Minister to build a Regional Ring Rail along the Regional Ring Road which will be 360 ​​km long. Our intention is to establish centralized locations for manufacturing industry and marketing around the Regional Ring Road.
• We want to create different clusters like China. A Light City, Marble City, Granite City, Furniture City… We are trying to expand marketing activities by showcasing the Regional Ring Road in a special way.
• Once the Regional Ring Road is completed, there will be 70 percent urbanization in the Telangana region. On the other side of the Ring Road, the government has focused on agriculture, organic farming, setting up warehouses and cold storage for farmers with the aim of comprehensive development of rural Telangana.
• Since Telangana does not have a sea coast, we are setting up a dry port. We have proposed separate road and railway connectivity to connect Machilipatnam port to the port.
• We have mainly focused on improving job and employment opportunities to enhance skills. We are taking steps to make Hyderabad a major investment hub in the world under the China Plus One strategy.
• The holding of the CII National Council meeting in Hyderabad is a welcome development. Telangana is ready to provide the best business facilities. CII should come together. We believe that together we can achieve miracles,” Chief Minister Revanth Reddy said about the goals of the state government.
