Hydra: ‘Don’t worry .. Do not destroy such houses’ – Hydra Commissioner’s major statement
Hydra Commissioner Ranganath said that the government is working towards the restoration of the ponds. On Friday, the restoration and beautification work of several ponds in the city was investigated.
6 ponds restored …
The Hydra Commission visited 6 ponds taken as the first step. It includes Lime Pond, Tamidicantu, Kukukalli Black Pond, Uppal Black Pond and Bhumrukh Udin Daula Ponds. Ranganath inquired about the progress of the work. He asked the local people to cooperate in the restoration of the ponds.
Hydra Commissioner Ranganath said on this occasion…. He said that the government is giving priority to the restoration and beautification of the city. It was remembered that the state government had handed over this responsibility to Hydra. He informed that work is being done in partnership with other government departments.
Those houses will be demolished – no Ranganath
Ranganath said that it is a matter of joy to get good support from the local people … He said that the government will provide assistance under TDR for those who lose the places of the house in the pond buffer zone. It has been clarified that it will not already demolish houses in residential. No one needs to worry.
Ranganath has made it clear that the residents of the ponds should be removed from rescue, restoration and beautification work. Restoration and beautification of ponds is a priority.
Nearly Rs. 58.50 crore, Lime Pond, Thomidicantu, Kukukalli Black Perfect, Uppal Black Perfect, Bhamrukh Udin Daula Pond and Batukamma Kunt Ponds are the first installments of Hydra in Rajendranagar. Hydra is currently working dewwatering in these ponds.
The first ponds dry the waste water in the ponds. Hydra Commissioner AV Ranganath is overseeing the work done in various stages. By June, Hydra is proceeding aimed at removing these ponds and completing beauty work. Vimos Technocrates are reviewing DPR (detailed project report) and concepts to remove ponds in the city and review the progress of work in relation to the beauty of the city.
