In view of Indo-Pak tension, 24 airports are closed by May 15

It has been reported that Pakistan has tried to attack many cities in North India using drones. Later, the Ministry of Civil Aviation announced the closure of 24 airports across the country by 10 May. Then it was expanded till the morning of 15 May. After the Pakistani drone and missile attacks, it was decided that the areas of Jammu, Punjab, Gujarat and Rajasthan were targeted.

The Ministry of Defense has confirmed that the attack took place from Pakistan. Indian air defense systems responded rapidly and stopped missiles and drones. This has led to air strikes in many cities. The closure of airports was also announced.

IndiGo Airlines said in its statement that all flights going to the following sites will be canceled by 5.29 am due to the closure of the airport as per the latest orders of the officials concerned. ‘Your safety is our most important solution. Closure of these airports

Chandigarh, Srinagar, Amrita Sir, Ludhiana, Bhantar, Kishangarh, Patiala, Shimla, Kangra-Gagal, Batinda, Jodhpur, Jodhpur, Bikanier, Halwara, Pathan Kot, Jammu, Leh, Jammu Nagar Airport will be closed till 15 May.

Air India statement

Air India also advised passengers. “Notification was received from airline officials to close several airports in India. Air India flights were canceled to Jammu, Srinagar, Leh, Jodhpur, Amritsar, Chandigarh, Bhuj, Bhuj, Jamnagar and Rajkot stations till 5.29 am on 15 May.
