KTR petition in Supreme Court: KTR cancellation petition not dismissed – What BRS legal team said…

BRS has expressed anger over the fact that some people are spreading propaganda on the petition of BRS working president KTR Quash. Don’t believe false propaganda. On the other hand, BRS legal team revealed many details on KTR’s petition.

Not dismissed – Mohit Rao, Advocate

KTR’s lawyer Mohit Rao said that KTR’s cancellation petition has not been rejected. As per legal opinion the case has been withdrawn. He clarified that he has the option to appeal in any court regarding this matter.

The bench of Justice Bela M Trivedi and Justice Prasanna Varle heard the petition filed by KTR in the Supreme Court in the Formula E car case. Aryama Sundaram and Siddharth Davelu heard arguments on KTR’s cash plea. Mohit Rao said, “We have heard arguments that Section 13.1A of the PC Act is not applicable in this case.”

Ridiculous – Soma Bharat, BRS Legal Team

On the other hand, BRS general secretary and lawyer Soma Bharat spoke to the media. “The Supreme Bench said that it may not be right for us to interfere in the matter at this stage. Then as per KTR’s instructions, his lawyer Dave withdrew the ‘cancellation petition’. In the National Herald case, Sonia and Rahul Gandhi also withdrew their petition in the Supreme Court. They are spreading the word that if KTR backs down then they have filed a petition. They are misleading people by telling lies and falsehood that if they do so then the Supreme Court will not reject their petitions. “It is ridiculous that Congressmen are trumpeting as if the case in the Supreme Court has been withdrawn and dismissed,” he said dismissively.

On the other hand, since the Supreme Court has withdrawn the quashing petition, KTR will attend the hearing with ED officials tomorrow (Thursday, January 16). ED officials will interrogate KTR at 11 am. The Formula E-Race matter will be investigated. However, ED officials have made it clear that KTR had not informed them that he would be appearing with any lawyer.

It is known that ACB officials had questioned KTR in the Formula-E race case on January 9. He was interrogated for about 6.30 hours. The investigating officer of this case, DSP Majeed Khan, asked questions to KTR. Joint director Ritiraj supervised the investigation. KTR’s lawyer Ramachandra Rao was allowed to watch the hearing from another room. ACB officials made it clear that whenever called, they should join the interrogation.
