Main updated on AP Mega DSC – Candidates’ age limit increase
Exercise continues to issue mega DSC notification in the state. Against this background, the government has taken an important decision. Candidates have increased the number of candidates from 42 years to 44 years. To this extent, the state government has issued orders. On July 1, 2024, the cutoff date was fixed. In a letter to the Director of Education Department on 7 April, DSC candidates were asked to increase the age limit. The state government has taken the matter on the issue and has decided to rest the JIO number 6 for the appointment of DSC. Under Rule 12 of the Subartian Services Rules -1996, the number of age prescribed in classes is a special aspect. However, it has made any need for exemption in other rules and other provisions of employees, which have introduced pension, departmental tests, fundamental rules and holiday rules.
In number 14, it has been decided to issue the existing age limit order for DSC teacher recruitment (only once). The Ministry of Education said that on 1 July 2024, 1996, it was decided to calculate the age of 1996 in Andhra Pradesh State and Subordinate Services Rules -12 (V). The Director of School Education has made it clear that the next necessary steps will be taken in this regard.

A total of 16,347 teachers posts are expected to be released by Mega DSC notification. The state government is working to release it next week. For Mega DSC, 16,347 Posts, SGT 6,371, School Assistant 7,725, TGT 1,781, PGT 286, PET 132 and Principal 52 posts.
