Major improvement in AP education system, 9 types of schools from next academic year

The coalition government is focusing on education reforms. The GO-117 brought by the previous government will be canceled and there will be an option for 9 types of schools. Officials have made a preliminary list in this regard. One and three types of schools will still be replaced with three different types of schools.

Class – Teacher

45 types in high school and 45 in primary schools are called basic primary and high schools. If there are more than 45 students, the class will be assigned a class. These are known as ideal basic and high schools. 1-10 classes will be established in 900 basic and ideal primary high schools.

High school plus

Some primary schools and intermediate high school plus remain. The Education Department has decided to maintain more than 240 primary schools due to the situation in the area.

Although it is expected to bring about 5 types of schools, all 9 types of schools will be established in front of the region. The new school system will be implemented from 2025-26 academic year.

9 types of schools

1. Anganwadis will change and pre-primary education- 1, 2 (LKG and UKG) schools have been established as satellite foundation schools. They will be operated by the Women and Child Welfare Department.
2. Foundation schools are combined with pre -primary -1 and 2 with one and second grade.
3. Schools with PP -1 and 2 and 1-5 grades have been established as basic primary schools. In classes of 1-5, children under 45 are considered basic primary schools.
4. PP -1, 2, one to fifth grade, more than 45 students are considered ideal primary schools.
5. Primary schools will continue. Depending on the number of students in grade 6, 7 and 8, some are considered high schools and some are considered primary schools.
6. There are 6 to 10 grade high schools.
7. If there are 1–10 grades, basic primary and high schools are considered. Grade 3, 4 and 5 were added to 1 and 2 square, with the cancellation of GO-117.
8. If there are 1–10 grades, ideal basic and high schools will be established and more than 45 students in primary schools will be assigned single teachers in class.
9. A total of 294 High School Plus will continue in the state. These include 1-12 or 6–12 grades.
