Maruti Suzuki car price increase: Maruti Suzuki India has announced an increase in the prices of all models of cars. Market leader Maruti Suzuki India on Thursday said it will increase prices by up to Rs 32,500 on various models from February 1 to partially compensate for increased input costs. The company said that due to rising input costs, operating costs, it has decided to increase the prices of cars from February 1, 2025.

Maruti Suzuki said that although the company is committed to optimizing all costs and minimizing the impact on consumers, some part of the increased costs is being passed on to the consumer.

How much on which model?

As per the revised prices, the prices of cars in the Maruti Suzuki lineup will increase as follows.

  • Ex-showroom prices of the compact Celerio will go up to Rs 32,500, while the price of the premium model LnVito will go up to Rs 30,000.
  • The price of the company’s popular model Wagon R will increase by Rs 15,000.
  • The price of Swift, another popular model, will increase by Rs 5,000.
  • Among popular SUVs, the price of Maruti Brezza will go up to Rs 20,000 and Grand Vitara will go up to Rs 25,000.
  • Prices for the entry-level small car Alto K10 go up to Rs 19,500, with the S-Presso going up to Rs 5,000.
  • The price of premium compact model Baleno will go up to Rs 9,000, the price of compact SUV Franchise will go up to Rs 5,500 and the price of compact sedan Dezire will go up to Rs 10,000.
  • Currently, Maruti Suzuki is selling a variety of vehicles at various prices ranging from Rs 3.99 lakh to Rs 28.92 lakh.
