The sensational incident of Anna being beaten to death by electric shock took place on Saturday morning at Nanu Thanda in Shivavampeta mandal of Medak district. Gopal, who had fled after killing Anna Tejavat Shankar (28), was arrested by the police within a few hours. Sensational things came to light in the investigation.

He woke up first thing in the morning and wrapped the electric wire around his leg and arm and plugged it into a nearby plug. Shankar screamed in his sleep after getting an electric shock. Hearing his scream, his father, who was sleeping in the adjacent room, ran into Chandar’s room and saw… Gopal was seen running from the room.
The father went inside the room and saw… Shankar suddenly screamed as he looked lifeless. Hearing Chandar’s scream they all came running. On getting information about the matter, he immediately informed Shivampet police. The police reached the village and interrogated the father and the villagers.

Special teams have been formed to nab Gopal. Within four hours he was caught by the police. Police revealed the reasons behind the murder. He told that the reason for this was that Gopal had an illicit relationship with his brother’s wife. It was explained that Gopal had noticed the same thing before and had warned them several times that they were not two. “Many times there used to be fights in the family. Shankar’s wife has also recently come to live with her parents. But Gopal thinks that if Anna comes in between… then there will be no hindrance in their relationship. That’s why he decided to kill his brother by giving him an electric shock,” police said. The accused was produced in the court and taken on judicial remand.
Police said that Gopal, a ganja addict, was caught transporting ganja earlier also. Inspector Rangkrishna told that Gopal, who was jailed in that case, had returned from jail only two months ago.
