He recalled that there are more than 35,000 small and big factories that produce sports equipment in Meerut and are employed more than 3 lakh people. He emphasized that such ecosystems are being developed across the country.
He said that hundreds of crore rupees are being invested for dozens of athletes under the top scheme. He insisted that the Khelo Bharat program is building modern sports infrastructure across the country. Prime Minister Modi said that sports have been brought to the mainstream in schools and the country’s first sports university is being established in Manipur.
Attempted to manage 2036 Olympics
The Prime Minister praised that India is also moving forward with great resolutions, such as athletes are always targeting big goals. India is making important efforts to host the 2036 Olympics, which are taking Indian Games in new peaks.

The Prime Minister said that national sports in Uttarakhand will also benefit the local economy. Lack of government cooperation …
AP players who participated in the 38th National Games in Uttarakhand have lost their cooperation from the state government. The AP Olympic Association has repeatedly appealed to the state government to cooperate with the National Games, but with unnecessary legal disputes. The AP Olympic Association alleges that the situation came with shop officials and some sports associations. State teams have asked for Rs 33 lakh to represent the game but have not approved it.
Sports associations have made their arrangements. The shop did not even provide the necessary kits to the players. Purushottam, president of the AP Olympic Association, said that about 120 players, coaches and managers are participating in the National Games from the AP Olympic Association. He said that the AP government has not been helping National Games for the last three years. On the other hand, AP public representatives have announced that the bids to be held in AP in 2029 will be held in AP. Eddeva is saying that those who do not help the players participating in the national game will conduct the national sports.
